EXTRAORDINARY ACCOMPLISHMENT : the COST

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6th
SERMON BY V.C. MICHAEL LARWEH

Achieving success in life goes with a cost.
There is a cost dimension of everything done on earth.
For success accomplishment, one needs to pay the cost before attaining it.
However, for failure, the cost is paid afterwards.

The problem of people nowadays is comfortability , hence, people do not want to bear the cost.

THREE LEVELS OF COST ACCOMPLISHMENT
1. Pay a spiritual cost.
   2. Pay an intellectual cost.
     3. Pay a physical cost.

SPIRITUAL COST
2nd Chronicles 26:5
"He sought God.............and God made him prosperous.
To be able fo pay the spiritual cost, one needs to       pray
           study the word
            pay your tithe
For those who tithe it is said in Malachi 3:10

" Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

INTELLECTUAL COST
Humans need to acquire knowledge for.....
......Knowledge is information
........Understanding is comprehension
........Wisdom is application of the knowledge gained.

" life do not give you what you derserve, but what you fight for"

PHYSICAL COST
physical cost deals with time, energy and resources.
what do you invest your time, energy and resource in??

The word of God is living.
                      ......there is MINSHEE

THE FIRST 4 STAGES OF DISLOYALTY

Sunday,November 29th 2015
Sermon by Chief Elder Johnson

1- Having an independent spirit

This is where an individual always does opposite of what he has been ordered to do
2 Samuel 3:20.      2 Samuel 18:14

Signs To Show One Is Having an Independent Spirit
-The person never leaves the master's side but does opposite of what he has been told to do
-2 Sam 12:28
-The person expects the leader to be part of what he has been asked to do
-The person wants to benefit from what he has been asked to do

2-Spirit of offence

This is where the individual is most often hurt by messages preached in church. Aperson is offensive when he thinks a penalty given out by the leader is too small or too great

3-Passive stage

In this stage the individual tries to exempt himself from any activity that goes on in the church

Signs To Show One Has Become Passive
-When one becomes so quiet in church Deut. 28:48
-When one gets uninvolved in church activities. Jer. 48;10
'Passive people are mostly unhappy because people they are hating on are always progressing. And forgetting that whatever you don't celebrate, you never attract.

4-Critical stage

The individual at this stage looks and judges people with a critical eye, pointing out only negativities
He sees errors in everything being done. Numbers 12:1
He always finds fault with the leader 2 Sam 15:3

LOYALTY AND DISLOYALTY

Sunday, 22nd November
Sermon by Chief Elder Johnson

Loyalty in simple terms means being faithful to a supreme authority or to oneself.
Paying allegiance to someone higher.
A lot of people are not ready to obey the keeper of their souls.
                  1 Peter 2 : 25
Trying to prove you know more than your shepherd, forgetting that your shepherd's responsibility is to KEEP YOUR SOUL.

He will fight and do best to keep you alive, even if it will take his own life in the process.
The same applies to your parents who are also your shepherds.

" In life you will have many fathers, who will teach you a PARTICULAR THING in every stage in every stage of your life."

HOW YOU CAN BE LOYAL TO AUTHORITY  be it your parents, pastor, chief elder or even yourself

•See Him In The Right Way
•Believe In Him. 2nd Chro. 20:20
•Obedience.  Eph 6:1
•Become A Son/Daughter
•Learn To Receive From Him
•Prevent Yourself From Being Familiar

SIGNS THAT SHOWS THAT YOU
ARE FAMILIAR

-Not writing when Man Of God is preaching
-Yawning during service
-Watsapping and receiving calls during service
-Checking your time and murmuring
-Talking and going out during service
-Always sitting at the back during church meetings
-Not attending meetings
-Not buying Pastor's books or listening to his messages
-Criticising the man of God
-Rating Pastor's preaching

In the name of Jesus we ask for grace to be loyal to ourselves and to authority.
                                         Amen

IS IT POWERFUL ???
