Ten Things That Happen When You Tithe.

√ You honour God
                  Proverbs 3:9
honour the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits if all thine increase....

√ Every time you tithe, you remember God
                   Deuteronomy 8:11,18
beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God......but thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth

√ Every time you tithe, you worship God.
                    Deuteronomy 26:10
....I have brought the first fruits of the land...and worship before the Lord thy God

√ You show respect for Holy things
                     Leviticus 27:32
...the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord

√ Every time you tithe, you obey God
                      Deuteronomy 26:14
...but I have hearkened to the voice of the Lord my God....

√ You demonstrate faith when you tithe.
                       Malakai 3:8

√ You appreciate full time ministry
                         Nehemiah 13:10

√ You demonstrate your belief in eternity.
                     Mathew 6:19-20

√ You obtain a blessing and avoid curses.
                   Malachi 3:8

√ You demonstrate the knowledge of the source of your blessings

√ When you honour your father, it shall be well with you.
                    Ephesians 6:3
...... that it may be well with you.
The woman with the alabaster box honoured Jesus by washing His feet. Jesus blessed her, it was well with her.

√ When you honour your father, you have long life.
                            Ephesians 6:3
...... and thou mayest live long on earth.
                             Proverbs 3:1
... and long life shall they add unto thee.

√ When you honour your prophet, you will be delivered from strange men and women.
                            Proverbs 6:23
.... to keep thee...from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman

√ When you honour your father, you will be honoured.
                            John 12:18
Abraham honoured God's call snd God made him a great nation    

√ When you honour your prophet, you are delivered from costly mistakes.
                    Proverbs 5:1
...... and that thy lips may keep knowledge

√ When you honour your father, you will prosper

√ When you honour your father, you receive your father's blessings.
                          Genesis 27:25
...... that my soul may bless thee

√ When you honour your father, heavens are opened unto you.
                          Genesis 28:10
.... and the top of it reached to heaven and behold the angels of God ascending and descending.

√ When you honour your prophet, He provides all your needs.
                      Philippians 4:19
..... but my God shall supply all your needs

A prophet is a man whom God has sent and has the power to take you out and bring you in

And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
                               Hosea 12:13

From our Scripture, it can be inferred that..

*Your prophet can take you out of poverty, difficulty, distress and bring you to safety.

*Your prophet can cause your rise and your fall.
                            Luke 2:34

*There are different kinds of prophets who work in different ways.
                          1 Corinthians 12:4

After knowing who a prophet is, the question that comes to mind is      "What must you  do with your  prophet "?

-Receive him
.                       John 13:20   Matthew 10:41

-Honour him
.                      Mark 6:2-4    Malakai 1:6

-Accept him
.                       John 8:48
