The type of leadership to avoid is the leadership of a child.
Reasons why the leadership of a child should be avoided
*The leadership of a child is characterised by a lot of disorganization.
In Isaiah 3:1-5 , the Bible says that anarchy will prevail if a child leads.
It is a child who in times of prayers would just walk to mother to ask for water, an adult would not interrupt the flow of the holy spirit …
Some of you, your churches are so disorganized that when service is to start at 9, by 10 only one person will be there.
Every office you go to and there is total chaos, the people there are not productive.
*The leadership of a child is characterised by not understanding anything that is a little complex.
When they say 1+1 is 2, and they change it to 1+1*5-1, people don't get it. But life is complicated like that. And when you think that church is a simple thing, then you are a child.
When you support only your denomination, you are a child.
If God wanted all churches to be the same, He would have given us only one apostle.
But because that is not the case, we would be one body, enjoying our differences and thriving with it.
Never rejoice in the downfall of another.
*A child does not understand the financial cost of anything.
There are some leaders as soon as there is little money, anything at all they want to celebrate. Many churches cannot even repair and replace their faulty instruments, yet they celebrate their first, second and third anniversary.
*The leadership of a child is characterized by the desire for toys
There are some people, every phone that comes out, they want to get one.
The church does not have a building, yet you have a car.
The church has no proper instruments, and yet your office is decorated with different kinds of AC.
*The leadership of a child is characterized by the inability to find practical and realistic solutions to problems.
We haven't solved most Of our problems because the solutions are not practical.
There are always a lot of talkings: impossible things brought about as solutions.
Many of you have spent most of your time criticizing others, thereby bearing no fruit.
The Lord who has set your heart on, will never forsake you.
And when you get up to pray, pray that your leadership will not be like that of a child , but the leadership God brings.
